The Virgin Pure WaterBar purifies and dispenses water either boiling hot or perfectly chilled instantly. With their business model change from rental to purchase and with multiple new ways to pay, I was tasked to redevelop and make sense of the user journey to purchase.
As lead designer on this project I worked closely with the client, starting with an audit of the previous website, benchmarking, the new site structure and mapping the purchase journey to influence the initial digital wireframes.
Their previous website that had become crowded, confusing and untidy. The new design makes it easier for the user to navigate, shop and purchase through big, bold headlines, clearly defined sections, and hierarchy of content.

I began these digital wireframes to give an accurate look at how the user journey will work practically.

My approach using modular web design, allowed for a flexible system of standalone, reusable components.

A suite of icons for the site helps the user to understand the complex offer intuitively.
An interactive module showcased how the WaterBar can instantly dispense chilled and boiling water.

To increase awareness of the Virgin Pure brand I created a range of social media content. The tone of voice was bold and playful, focusing on the sensation of purified water ... 'H2WOW'!
Human expressions captured the sensation of taste from purified water.
